Fento Wines La Liebre y La Tortuga Albarino 2021

Since 2012, Fento Wines has focused on the grape types and winegrowing regions of Galicia and northern Portugal. Eulogio Pomares, a well-known winemaker from Zarate, has contributed his albario experience to the project. The Condado de Tea’s granite and slate-based vineyards follow the Tea River, a tributary of the Mio. The citrus and tropical fruit aromas of Fento’s ‘La Liebre y La Tortuga’ (the hare and the turtle) reflect the warmer, slightly inland environment of the Ras Baixas region. This Albario is hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a focus on freshness and fruit. On the tongue, it develops passionfruit and other tropical fruit notes, with a hint of texture to round off a refreshing sip, starting with bright grapefruit on the scent. Sustainably grown. Vegan.
